David Polonsky
Born in 1973, Kiev USSR.
Graduate of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem.
Since 1997 contributes illustrations for most of Israel's leading publications.
Illustrated a number of children's books. Winner of the Israel Museum Ben Yitzhak Awarad for children's book illustration in 2004 and 2008 for "Heart-Shaped Leaf" and "Moonless Night".
Art Director in a number of animated and puppet TV shows.
Art director and illustrator
of Waltz With Bashir, an animated documentary feature film, directed by Ari Folman.
Since 1999- teaching animation and illustration in Shenkar School of Design and in Bezalel Academy.
